Wherever No. 157

N/b ‘Wherever’ is a 58’ 6 Trad-style narrowboat powered by a Beta Marine 43bhp diesel engine, and has a 2.5kw Mastervolt Combi inverter/charger. The boat is heated with a Webasto diesel heating system, and there is a Portway stove in the saloon at the front of the boat. The windows and portholes are double glazed, with windows in the saloon only.  A wooden Pigeon box has been built over the bed, there is a Houdini hatch in the galley, and glazed hatches either side of the dinette. This is a very light and open boat, with energy saving LED lighting throughout, and two solar panels on the roof that help keep the batteries topped up.

From the helm you walk down through the engine room into the bedroom. The wardrobe unit extends to the foot of the bed on the port side, and overhead cupboards barrel over the porthole down the length of it. The bed extends from a width of 4’ to 5’, as required. The bedroom leads into the walk-through bathroom with a cassette toilet, large quadrant shower corner sink unit fitted with a shaver socket, and a chrome towel rail. The bathroom then leads to the galley.
