Desiderata is a 60 foot semi trad, hybrid narrowboat.

Built as a liveaboard, living comfortably shouldn’t be an issue on board this boat. It boasts more modern appliances than most houses.

Within the well equipped galley is a full sized 8kg washing machine, full sized undercounter Neff fridge, separate under counter Neff freezer, 6 place dishwasher and all Neff cooking appliances, including microwave, oven, and induction hob. This galley also boasts some clever storage solutions and even a wine cooler in the floor.

The open plan design creates a feeling of space, along with the painted cabin sides with oak framework and under gunnel lighting. Each corner of this boat has been utilised to maximise storage. Heating comes in form of diesel fired Reflex stove and Webasto central heating. The flooring is Karndean, which is waterproof, durable and easy to clean, ideal for muddy boats and paws.

The hybrid engine has its own remote control system, brilliant idea for those who are locking single handed. The 6 x 120W solar panels help to keep the batteries topped up when not plugged in, ideal for off grid living.
