Serenity is a beautifully finished 57' semi-trad narrowboat. The exterior is painted a stylish green and red with cream coach lines and brass fittings. Internally the boat is configured in the reverse layout format.
The Beta Hybrid propulsion system comprises a keel cooled Beta 43 hp engine with a 10kW electric motor / generator - which can be controlled with a simple joystick. The 400Ah battery pack providing both power for 230V AC electrical appliances without running the engine, as well as, near silent cruising when using the electric motor.
