We’re absolutely delighted with Hrafn; she’s everything we’d ever hoped for - and more.

The build quality and attention to detail are second to none. It’s now some two months since completion and, looking back, the whole build process was such an incredible adventure and so much fun.

From narrowboat holidays, we kind of knew the basics of what we were looking for in our own boat, but didn’t have that live aboard experience to fine tune everything.

We needn’t have worried as Braidbar discussed and explored our needs and wants lists both before and throughout the build, offering expert guidance to help us decide on the fine details.

Having now lived aboard for a few weeks, we honestly can’t think of anything that we’d change that might improve our new lifestyle.

The support received during the planning and building process has continued into ownership. Any desired small tweaks and additions identified during our ‘shake down’ cruise were taken care of promptly and to the same high standards.

And if looking for guidance or suggestions whilst out on the cut, then a quick phone call has taken care of everything.

From the moment we first met James, Donna and the rest of the wonderful Braidbar team, we knew that we’d found our builder.
