Built in 2006 by Braidbar Boats, and in excellent condition, Bessie Surtees is a 58.5 foot Trad style narrow boat with a cratch (and Wilsons cratch cover), and built on a Tim Tyler hull.

She is powered by a Beta 43 diesel engine (with only circa 800 hours on the clock) and Nobels hydraulic bowthruster.

The boat is fitted out inside with solid ash TGV boards, and oak, and has a Houdini hatch fitted over the dinette, all of which give her a light and airy feel. The boat is heated by a Webasto diesel boiler (timer controlled), and there is also a Morso squirrel solid fuel stove.

The sale price of Bessie Surtees includes a Zanussi fridge/freezer and washing machine, Sharp microwave, Blaupunkt radio/cd player, Vanette gas eye-level oven with separate 4 burner hob, and much more (detailed specification available).

Bessie Surtees has a full Boat Safety Certificate until March 2014.
