It Takes Two No. 162 July 2016

‘It Takes Two’ is a 59.5’ Semi-Trad style narrow boat with a reverse layout, powered by a Beta Marine 43bhp diesel, Vetus electric bow thruster, and a 3kw Mastervolt Ultra inverter/charger. The boat is heated with a Webasto heating system, and there is a stylish Lockgate diesel Refleks stove in the saloon in the centre of the boat. The ceiling and sides are panelled and painted white, and that together with the double glazed portholes throughout, two double glazed dog boxes on the roof and glazed side hatches, makes the whole boat bright and airy.

The Semi-Trad rear deck has two lockers, one for gas cylinders and the other for storage, which also provide useful seating. From the helm you walk down into the galley past the electrics cupboard and wet locker and into the galley. The worktops are in a pretty Blue Pearl granite. The sink has been set into the starboard side of the galley with the washing machine fitted under the routed drainer, with a row of overhead cupboards extending the full length.
