This beautiful 70’ narrowboat with a Tim Tyler Sheer line hull and Josher bow was our pride and joy exhibit at the Crick 2008 show. It was built as a live-aboard, and boasts a stunning red Heritage Uno range, fridge, washer/ dryer, a Vintage Gardner 2LW Engine, a traditionally built and painted boatman’s cabin, and a burnt and brushed oiled reclaimed oak floor. It has 6’3” headroom reducing to 5’8” in the Boatman’s cabin.
The Galley is stunning with a black granite work surface, (carried through to the shower room.) The Heritage range also provides heating to the radiators throughout the boat, although a solid fuel stove can also be fired up to create a cosy atmosphere and plenty of direct heat in both the saloon and boatman’s cabin.
The walk-through bathroom has an elegant quadrant shower cubicle with curved doors, and the granite work-surface is continued here from the galley. The bedroom has a fixed 6’ 4” x4’1” double bed, extendable to 6’4” x 4’10”, the Pullman dinette converts to a 6’ 3” x 4’ 1” double bed, and a smaller 5’ 8” x 3’ 8” bed traditional boatman’s cabin cross bed.
