This recognition of our skill and craftsmanship by the general public represents a particularly proud moment  in Braidbar's history.

"Favourite Boat in show", Crick 2007

Braidbar No.100 won the 'Favourite Boat in Show, Crick 2007' award (see picture 1). It was especially nice to win this because with the narrowboat Braidbar No.100 being the company's centenary boat it provided an extra special way to mark the century.

Many people viewed Braidbar No.100 over the Crick Show weekend and it meant a lot to us to receive such an accolade. We had taken the decision to bring both traditional and new concepts together by including both the traditional boatman's cabin and vintage engine. It was evident that viewers recognised both the quality and craftsmanship necessary to produce a boat of this standard, and responded by voting for it.

Braidbar are very grateful to everyone who did vote for Braidbar No.100 at Crick 2007.
